Forgotten Romance

Early Miriam HASKELL collar necklace. The beautiful clam (?) shells are suspended on brass chain. Each shell is adorned by colorful stars topped by colorful glass beads in yellow, red, blue, green. Shells graduate in size.  Measures 16" long and 1.75" wide in the center.  Excellent condition.

Superb Austrian glass necklace. Six strands of gorgeous large colorful glass beads connected by wires. The beads are in turquoise blue, red, green, blue and black, with a few brass accents. Fabulous brass clasp is also adorned by faux turquoise beads. Necklace has a substantial weight. Measures: bib itself is 14.5" with a chain extension of 7.5" to a total of 22". The beads are about 1/2" in diameter (10-12mm). Signed on the back of the clasp "Made in Austria". Excellent condition.

Lovely unique dog collar necklace. Made of a black ribbon with pink sequin decorations sewn onto the ribbon on bugle beads and topped by pink seed beads. Measures 13" long (can be tighten to 12")  and 7/8" wide. Has 2 snap closures. Excellent condition.

An amazing French pate de verre and rhinestones necklace. Stunning and unusual color combination of lavender and light blue. Gold tone setting with three large clusters of pored glass flowers. Each flower has a small Aurora Borealis rhinestone in the center and tiny clear rhinestones between each petal. Blue navette stones adorn the neckline. Center cluster also has lavender rhinestones in it. The poured glass though is lavender, also has a touch of pink in it. It's a masterpiece! Measures 15.5" long. Center cluster is 2.5" by 2", side clusters are 2" by 1.5". Signed on the back of the center cluster "Made in France". Excellent condition.

Spectacular Lucite collar necklace. It's not for the timid! Very showy and unusual. Large clear ribbed beads are at the neckline with large loops of faceted Lucite crystals. Textured gold tone clasp. Measures 15.5" long and is 2.25" wide. Excellent condition.

Beautiful Trifari invisibly set rhinestone necklace. Gorgeous deep colored faux rubies are in silver tone setting. I would call it tennis bracelet style. Will sit perfectly close to your neck. Measures 14" long and just a bit over 1/8" wide. Signed "Trifari" on the clasp. Possibly sterling but I cannot find any marks. Excellent condition.

Gorgeous unsigned five strand necklace with a spectacular clasp. Reminds of Italian designer Ornella. Five strands of beautiful beads separated by tiny clear beads. There are white faux pearls, beautiful aqua givre faceted glass beads, large olive colored faux pearls. The brass clasp adorned by matching beads. Measures 15 3/4" long. The clasp is 1 1/4" by 3/4". There is some minor wear on the back of the clasp, otherwise excellent condition.

Sensational collar necklace by Gerda Lynggaard for Monies. Twenty one strands of beads - 6 strands of stone chips (appears to be aquamarine, but I'm not an expert in gemology) and 15 strands of other beads in matching color. Fantastic ebonized wood/leather closure. This necklace is not signed. This particular design was a special limited edition.  Necklace measures 19" long. It has a substantial weight. Excellent condition.

This is a spectacular necklace. It looks and feels great! But I'm not sure if it's actually a vintage Sandor necklace or a necklace made recently from vintage components. It has a four strands of fantastic bronze colored faceted crystals with a fabulous floral centerpiece of old cut steel belt buckle with seven long strands (5.5" long) of crystals. Necklace measures 20" long, the center is 7.5" long (5.5" are the crystal strands) and 1.75" wide. There are 2 signatures. One on the belt buckle - "L W Paris". The other one is on the crystal decorated gold tone clasp - "Sandor Co". Excellent condition.

Fabulous Art Deco sterling necklace. Beautiful ornate sterling setting with large oval cats eye blue art glass stones. Small push in clasp is adorned by the same type cabochon. Necklace measures almost 16" long and 0.5" wide. Signed discretely on the inside of the clasp "Sterling". Excellent condition.

Cute and charming necklace. Made of loads and loads of some sort of beige-gray seeds with a green sequence and a tiny bead on the top. Such a lovely thing! Measures 19" long and 1" wide. Excellent condition.

Stunning Czech crystal collar necklace. Beautiful book chain with fancy engraving. Large crystal amethyst colored beads are suspended from the chain. The necklace measures 16" long and 2 3/8" wide. Just some minor scratches on the crystals due to age but overall great condition.

STUPENDOUS French rhinestone sautoir necklace. Rare find for any collector! Dates back to the 1920s. Small buttons with clear rhinestones together with pink colored art glass flowers with tiny black centers create a beautiful sparkling rope. Measures about 30". The rope is about 3/8" in diameter. Excellent condition.

Gorgeous Venetian art glass necklace. Three strands of fabulous blue foiled beads with a beautiful gold tone filigree clasp adorned by Aurora Borealis stone. Measures 17" long. Clasp is about 3/4" by 3/4". Excellent condition.

Fabulous colorful collar necklace. The beads are fantastic - large apple green plastic beads and beautiful purple glass beads all with gold tone caps and gold tone spacers. The beads are tightly woven with loops of purple beads at the neckline. Will adjust up to 17". It's 3.5" wide. No signature on this beauty. Excellent condition.

Outstanding Rousselet puzzle necklace. Gorgeous heavy green glass beads and those unusual puzzle beads. Similar necklaces are pictured in "European Designer Jewelry" by Ginger Moro (page 64 - France chapter). So hard to find. Measures 16.25" long and about 1/2" wide. Excellent condition.

Absolutely marvelous necklace. Three strands of gorgeous graduating pale mint green glass, milky white glass and emerald green and green Aurora faceted crystals (some in ornate brass cups). Gold tone flower shaped clasp is decorated green glass beads. Necklace measures 19" long, clasp is 1" in diameter. Excellent condition.

Beautiful necklace. Large (3/8" in diameter) round beads in the color of cherry amber separated by small clear crystal spacers. The beads are plastic but heavy plastic. It's pretty long and measures 50". Excellent condition.

Fantastic find! Gorgeous and so delicate French bib necklace. It's not signed, but all the characteristics (findings, design) point to Maryse Blanchard. Similar necklace is pictured in "European Designer Jewelry" by Ginger Moro (page 79). Beautiful combination of faux pearls, turquoise, art glass, and amber and topaz rhinestones set in gold tone metal. Measures 15" long and 1.25" wide. Excellent condition.
